Preview a country at the top. Nigeria shows ₦35,000; Senegal shows 35 000 F CFA.

Rules

  • Whole units unless the decimals matter. ₦35,000, not ₦35,000.00.
  • Group thousands the local way. English-style commas in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana; a thin space in Senegal.
  • The symbol and the number never break across lines. The component keeps them together.
  • In tables, use ag-table__numeric as well so amounts right-align and the digits line up.
  • Say the currency in words once on a page if people may be abroad: "35,000 naira".
